Congdon will walk on to USC..

sliced bread comes after the dreaded bread bowl that's the best

let's start a thread that we can knitpick every decison by every player and coach all the way back to 1913

BUGEATERS RULE

Congdon left. It's all over with now. Good, bad or indifferent DONE.

I should have clarified I'm ambivalent towards Congdon and his rationale for leaving. I think he didn't like Runzas.
\

No one likes Runzas. nepolo7 himself can only stomach to eat 13 a time.

Seriously Congdon, I really hope you make the trip to Lincoln next year.

I saw this coming before he even took his "temporary leave"

Wonder if the sudden death of USC's kicker will have any effect on what kickers USC looks for, and who is available. Perfect (allbeit unfortunate) situation for a kid that is homesick for Cali, moving home, and looking for a place to go to school and kick.

Thoughts???
Um.......

I think that was part of the "out" for him. His uncle now needs a whole liver transplant, so my thoughts are with him.

Like Jrodan's mommy said, "Jordan needed hope for a brighter future..." (paraphrased). That must be happening at USC.

I see, well I wish him good luck.

He was pretty consistent, or maybe it only seemed that way because our previous kickers were so bad since Brown.

And over all he couldn't kick anything over 40, I know I was biting my nails everytime.

Who cares. Congdon sucks.
True, if you can't hardly make a 45 yard field goal that is pathetic for a college kicker. I know someone that kicked a 45 yard field goal and he is terribly inconsistant. But the fact is that he can still kick further than him.
That begs the question, which would you rather have, a consistant kicker with medium range or an inconstitant kicker that might make a 55 yarder?

I personally would rather have a consistant kicker so that whenever he came on the field I knew that we had a 90% chance of getting three points.
