Everyone wants to be the next Reggie Bush. Add #2 RB Marc Tyler and #14 RB Broderick Green to the list.

Getting a house for your family is just too tempting for some kids apparently.

 
Didn't USC have three or four true freshman play in their backfield last year? It would seem that their cupboard is pretty full in that particular area.

I thought I heard somewhere over the past year that Carroll doesn't really recruit anyone outside of California unless he believes that they could be a first round draft pick in four years.

 
I think a couple of weeks ago I went back and looked at USC's recruiting areas and he pulls 5 stars in from just about any where he wants to. Take a look at there last few years. Better than Tex, N.D, or the Fla schools. :angry:

LOS ANGELES -- The University of Southern California is looking into whether it may have violated NCAA recruiting rules while pursuing highly rated recruit Joe McKnight, a university official said.

McKnight signed a national letter of intent with USC on Wednesday and made comments during a news conference that seemed to suggest communications involving former Trojan Reggie Bush, who is now with the New Orleans Saints.

Former players are forbidden from telephoning prospective recruits, their relatives or guardians.
