Great half of football by the defense IMO. Stave made some nice throws, but we haven't seen a Husker defense play like this against the Wisconsin run game in a long, long time.

I know Wiscy's O isn't close to what it was last year with Gordon, Clement, and a better line but this was still a good performance by the defense.

Close games haven't been kind to us this year.

That being said, Michigan has provided a blueprint of how to return to national prominence... hopefully we follow it next go-round.

I just don't think teams can score consistently and not turn the ball over when they throw 40 times per game. They may get 350 yards passing, but it sure beats the heck out of 350 yards rushing ... or 581
