I dont understand

Carter has had his moments, but overall he's been a big disappointment. He has hands of stone.

Westerkamp, Reilly, Moore, and Morgan are all solid.

And please don't fool yourself into thinking that Keyshawn Jr. is coming here. He's not.

Seriously? You would abandon everything you know in favor of coaching a scheme you know very little about? People that think coaches are capable of installing new systems is easy obviously have no experiencing coaching.

I'm fairly convinced everyone on this board knows everything that is going on not just in the football program, but the entire athletic department. One could even argue they're part of the entire administration system.

It's pretty epic being in such elite company. Their knowledge is second to none.

What's really weird is who is still starting on the O-Line. Thought Cavanaugh would be good but starting to look bleak. B/c if he is right and there's a pretty big gap between who's starting and the 2nd teamers then I have zero hope for the future of the line. Smfh.

I think I read the same thing you did. He did say that he likes the looks of a couple young guys, won't name names but says they need to keep growing and getting better.

Is POB a running QB or Passing qb? Do you guys think is POB is a passing QB our pass attempts per game are going to drop?
POB has the second highest completion percentage among california QB's with 100 or more pass attempts. He's a 6'4" 225 pound pro-style QB. He's thrown for 2203 yds through 8 games with a completion percentage of 78% and 5 interceptions. He averages 275 yds/gm and has never finished a game with lower than a 70% completion percentage. He's thrown 23 touchdown passes so far. He averages about 30 pass attempts per game. He also has 530 rushing yards.

So would this give any indication that we are going to revert back to a run oriented team? Most on this board are calling for him to start next year and he isn't even here.

Because he probably will start. This is the same kid that Trent Dilfer said had the highest ceiling and probability to go as a first round draft pick of the elite 11 competition. Couple that with the fact he's smart. Graduating early. Enrolling in January to be here for spring camp. His sister is moving to Lincoln with him.

I don't know where you're getting info that we're going to be a run first team. We haven't exhibited that this year with a roster that is more tailored for it. This guy is the QB that Mike Riley could never get at Oregon State. This young man will be the first QB at Nebraska since Vince Ferragamo to get drafted and play as a quarterback in the NFL.

He is averaging about 65 yards a game rushing and presumably that is 'net' after at least a few sacks. Surely, their team has had a few of the negative plays now and then. I am guessing his running ability is not too bad. Perhaps anyway. I doubt seriously he is anywhere near as good a runner as todd reisling. He was exceptional and by comparison much better say than Tommy Armstrong for example.

My point exactly, No where did I say we would be a run first team. But 85% on Husker nation is calling for Rileys head because we throw the ball to much. What I am getting at is those same 85% of husker nation are also calling for POB to start next year. Do they think with POB at qb our passing attempts are going to go down?

LOL. Now I get it. Nobody said the average Husker fan had a lot of common sense though.
