Seriously, what happens if Ryker lights it up?

FEAR THE FYFE

Part of me is more excited to see the carnage that is the game day thread. Going to remember this thread as a reference point for the complete 180 some of you take by halftime.

Remember the Ryker Fyfe who stepped in during the Michigan State game, while we were getting crushed, led the team to a score, sparking the dramatic come back and near win? Yeah, few do.

Gerry Gdowski is my favorite Husker QB of all time and if Ryker lights it up the way Gdowski did then I'd expect him to get a chance in bigger games and maybe take the #1 spot. Then again, nothing has happened so far that makes me think anything will happen the way I think it will.

This kind of offense needs a QB who is a precision passer....not sure we have one of those.

If Ryker steps up in the pocket and hits a nice checkdown a couple times, or runs for 5-10 yards, it'll be an upgrade. That is all.

Folks. It's time to embrace the probability that we've seen Tommy Armstrong take his last snaps as a qb at Nebraska.
