Not sure what injury is, guessing not good.

But, if not truly completely season ending, i believe at this point in the season they should set him down for good and try to get a medical RS.

It looked like a bad hyperextension, hopefully that is all it is.

If a RS is still feasible, yes!

 
Did anyone see how it happened. He flashed across th screen when Morgan scored. No one was around him. Then you see him on the ground ??

I rewound the DVR at the time. It looked like he was running towards Morgan to congratulate him and got tripped up. It was really "freak accident" looking. He wasn't really jumping or excessively celebrating; it was awkward.

Pretty much. Matt Davison said he jumped up to celebrate the touchdown (Morgan Stanley's great play) and the injury happened landing. He came down stiff legged and that's when it happened. Totally unfortunate injury.

 
Look at 0:32 in this Purdue / Nebraska highlight film, they show the injury as it happens very clearly.

I caught that live and laughed a little bit at it, telling everybody, "Did you see that Nebraska guy fall flat on his face as he was going over to celebrate?!" It ceased being funny when he didn't jump back up.

Ya, he jumped in the air celebrating and came down wrong. I think part of the reason the announcers didn't reshow it was just to not add insult to injury.

They showed it during The Final Drive's Nebraska/Purdue segment on BTN. He didn't even jump up - he was running over to congratulate Morgan, and collapsed after an awkward step. It's not like he was being reckless or anything, it was just a fluke and that was that. I feel bad for the kid.
