Three-Star Recruit
Just curious if anyone knows where opposing teams usually stay when they play Nebraska? I heard when USC and Texas came here they stayed in Omaha. No reason behind the bought except for curiosity
Maybe...maybe not. The original owners might reclaim their house.I heard MSU is going to stay at Memorial Stadium because somebody told them they are gonna OWN it for the weekend.

Too bad Broderick Thomas isn't around to be keeper of the keys.Maybe...maybe not. The original owners might reclaim their house.I heard MSU is going to stay at Memorial Stadium because somebody told them they are gonna OWN it for the weekend.
I guess we will know by this time tomorrow night, so further speculation on our part would be pointless.
It probably has to do with the size of the airports as well. Last I knew (and it's been several decades so I could be wrong, way, way wrong heh) Omaha had a much bigger airport than Lincoln with far more options available for direct flights. If that is still true I would say that is another big reason for teams staying in Omaha.It probably depends on what they are most comfortable doing. There are more "big hotels" in Omaha, and so I can see why some teams would stay there.
These guys aren't flying on a Delta commercial flight. They fly charter and normally go in/out of Lincoln.It probably has to do with the size of the airports as well. Lots of teams stay that Embassy in LaVista(?).I've seen them at the Embassy Sites by the Cabelas in Omaha.

Damn you beat me to it.Where do opposing teams stay in Lincoln? I Usually find they can be found in one or more of these three locations;
The other side of the 50.
The red zone.
The end zone.
