Where do opposing teams stay when they come to Lincoln?

Just curious if anyone knows where opposing teams usually stay when they play Nebraska? I heard when USC and Texas came here they stayed in Omaha. No reason behind the bought except for curiosity

It probably depends on what they are most comfortable doing. There are more "big hotels" in Omaha, and so I can see why some teams would stay there.

It probably has to do with the size of the airports as well. Last I knew (and it's been several decades so I could be wrong, way, way wrong heh) Omaha had a much bigger airport than Lincoln with far more options available for direct flights. If that is still true I would say that is another big reason for teams staying in Omaha.

These guys aren't flying on a Delta commercial flight. They fly charter and normally go in/out of Lincoln.

Do we still stay at the Cornhusker the night before games? If so, not too many other hotels in Lincoln for them to use. The Embassy isn't used by teams. Not sure about the new hotels in the railyard/haymarket.
