Didn't Alabama lose to Ole Miss at home?

edit: Oh yeah, and of course the Huskers can win against Rutgers. The real question is: will the coaches allow them to win against Rutgers?

Also, somehow Northwestern-beaten Stanford is ranked #7 ahead of #8 Okie State, which just beat now #15 TCU.

Yeah, but Alabama passes the "eye test."

Nebraska has to beat Iowa. I have the unfortunate "pleasure" of having a brother-in-law who is a Hawkeye fan. A loss would put me in a terrible mood over Thanksgiving dinner that we're having Friday evening.

I am not an Iowa fan but I am happy for them and I am upset that it is exactly where NU could be right now...where they should be right now.

#Miami

#Illini

#Wisconsin

#Northwestern

#Purdue

Not one game listed that they could not have won.

I grew up in Lincoln but now live in Omaha. Iowa and Iowa fans have been invisible to me my whole life. I'd dislike them, I guess, if I even noticed them.

If the Huskers come out strong and put Rutgers away early, I'll like our chances against Iowa. We gotta keep the momentum going though.

That's been true for a long time. What was the last team Nebraska played that they "couldn't" beat? 2008?

I meant the final score...like as in not a blow out.

All but one game in that list they were in a position to win and didn't.

Oh, yeah that's true. Lowly Purdue beat us worse than than (almost) the other five teams combined.

It's nice to have a chance at the end, but we gotta win some of those- and also not need so many chances.

what is Iowa's schedule before us? Hope they keep winning. Would be awesome if Nebraska knocked them out of the playoff picture, and of course that would be a top 5 win for the Huskers!

Minnesota, Purdue, then obviously @Nebraska. I would say they have about a 90% chance of being undefeated when they roll into Memorial.
