Iowa Sucks

Ok serious question. When does IU leave Iowa City for Lincoln? I know it might take a few extra days for the horse and buggies to get through the Missouri Valley.

 
Remember, this is Iowa we're talking about here. They're having one of their blue moon seasons, and they think they're hot poop (in fairness, they are one of those things...)

Darn Herkies need to be put in their place.

I've come to the conclusion that I hate Iowa fans way more than I hate their football team. I hope, for the sake of the Hawkeye faithful that we either just dominate them from the opening kickoff, or equally as good..have their team come out, look impressive early, take a 10 - 14 point lead early...to really get their fans feeling it...thinking about what shorts and suspenders they'll take to the bowl game...then have a patented Husker comeback in the late 3rd and 4th quarter. Just smash their still beating hearts against a jagged stump.

Oddly, if they win, which, unfortunately is very possible, I'm thinking I'd actually hope for them to take the Natty. It might give them a sense of civility perhaps. But in hoping for them to win, I'll still be overjoyed if they get pummeled too. The players are just players, but their fans are about as senseless and confused as a pup with two peters.

 
I led a middle school youth group when I lived in Iowa for a while. Those boys were just blindly fanatic. All they could say was "Nebraska Sucks"..I'd ask "why"..'Oh, they just suck". No logic or reason at all. I'd let them go on and on for a while, then I'd say. "Well boys, when it takes more than....oh, zero fingers to count your National Titles, give me a call"......."NEBRASKA SUCKS!!!"....LOL....I was a Houston Oiler fan for years...so I do kind of feel their pain of never having a winner... :-)
