I think Ferentz is feeling the pressure of an unbeaten season. If it weren't for a few penalties and 2 INTs (which unfortunately, are part of our game), they would be way down. If we can start the 2nd half well I think he'll melt down.

Iowa did not look prepared during the first half. I would expect the Hawkeyes to come out strong in the 2nd. For Nebraska, Langs might need to take the ball out of TA hands a bit with more Cross/Jano power run and QB runs.

That was an...entertaining first half. Iowa muffed punt led to 7 Nebraska points. Tommy INT (which was not a bad call tbh) led to 7 Iowa points.

We'll get to see how a Nate Gerry-less defense looks in the 2nd half. Interesting.

Our offense has outscored their offense.

This is the biggest takeaway, folks. If the defense can keep up their end of the bargin, and Riley can coax competence out of the offense...the second half should look a lot better as we press into the late 3rd/early 4th.

Great point, xlbder. Let's hope this continues in the 2nd half.

Wouldn't have been able to get the FG team on the field and get the kick off in time if they hadn't

Whats bullcrap. If he Turner didn't get a first down then the clock didn't stop. They never would have gotten the FG team on and the kick off in seven seconds. And why not take the time out anyway, make sure everything and everyone is in place.

Unlike the Illinoise game, that was actually good clock management.

We already did, to an extent, and they did pretty good, all things considered.

Our D-Line is playing excellent ball right now--if they keep it up, the Gerry loss won't be *THAT* detrimental.
