Besides DT the starters we have to replace won't take much

Not sure if it's coincidental, or it means something. But that list is pretty close to an upside down ranking of the B1G.

I'm really liking the roster turnover this year. I'm sad we lost out on VV especially if firing our DL coach earlier would've kept him, but so it goes. I do like our up and coming line talent on both ends of the ball though.

Cross and Jano were given huge roles last year particularly compared to how the prior staff used them.......was that just a shot at the current staff? Otherwise it makes no sense,

Losing Cross and Jano will hurt. It would have hart more if they weren't under utilized last year.

They were under utilized last year, but I agree that Jano was even more under utilized under Bo. It is tough to say Cross was under utilized under Bo because of AA.

Losing Jano will definitely hurt but I don't think losing Cross will be a big deal if Ozigbo and Newby stay healthy.

I am excited by the potential of Ozigbo. I am not that impressed with Newby. I hope the OL is improved, and I wonder how much the backs will be hurt by not having Jano to plow the road.

In Purdue's case, 16 people returning is probably not a good thing.
Except.......ya know, they beat us and all that jazz.
That doesnt make them good... We werent good either.

Beating Nebraska last year wasnt a quality win.
Yes it was. Thanks to the residual effect of usually being decent. Now if we have 1 or 2 more seasons like that, then it wears off and we're just another win. I guarantee Iowa was happy to beat us, and so was every other team that beat us.

For Purdue, we could have only had 2-3 wins and beating us would be a quality win.

OSU??? No. Purdue??? yes.

Quality win doesnt change based on the team.

Just cause a 2 win team beats a 3 win team doesnt make that a quality win.

I dont think anyone should have considered beating Nebraska a quality win.
