Here's another question, you would rather have the blackshirts over the miami secondary?

Anyway, are they going to talk about how corrupt obsborne was? How he coddled Phillips his whole career... he should of sat him out that national championship game..

I don't think you know what the word corrupt means. We didn't need Phillips that season or that national championship game. Osborne gained nothing out of letting Phillips play.

 
I know you guys needed him, but if Osborne told him to misd the team flight maybe that would've changed him? Prolly not but it would of brought him back to reality. I'm looking really forward to seeing the piece on him

I said we didn't need him. You clearly don't know enough about the details of Phillips or what happened to be making intelligent comments about it. We'll see what the doc says.

You honestly have no idea who was in our secondary that year, do you? Admit it.

Then, after you admit it, go look up who it was. Go ahead, we'll wait.

Your boy Ken Dorsey was a good quarterback. I'm not going to lie and tell you different. He could hit his spots, read a defense. He threw for something over 9,000 yards in his career in the ACC. He was good.

But you know who was better?

Danny Wuerffel. He threw for more than 10,000 yards in his career in the SEC, which even in the mid-90s was better top-to-bottom than the ACC.

Guess how many TDs Wuerffel threw in that championship game against that secondary? Here's a hint - one. That's the same number of pick-sixes he threw against that secondary. And he was better than Dorsey.

 
Ahman Green rushed for 1100 yards in 1995. Nebraska didn't "need" Lawrence Phillips in that game. Hell, we could have started Damon Benning and won that game by two scores. Benning was what? Third string? Fourth?

If you are like most U fans then please take off the do-rag, change your diaper, and listen up. 95 Nebraska would physically destroy 2001 Miami. On Miami's best day ( BEST) they would have lost by 3. Your teams best day conditioning is what 95 Nebraska did for warm up.

Sure LP wasn't a stand-up character, but I seriously doubt you want to start throwing rocks when you're living in a glass house that also houses outstanding individuals such as Warren Sapp, Nevin Shapiro, and Tony Russell.

I'm sure they'll go back a little further than those 94 and 95 seasons to really set the scene for what was going to take place. It seems like every 30 for 30 does. So it'll be interesting to see how this documentary sets it up to get to those championship seasons.

 
Colorado put 62 on us where your Hurricanes could only put up 37 and we didn't belong in that bowl game

You can take away the 18 points phillips scored in that fiesta bowl and assume its not scored by anyone else and nebraska still wins by 18. God. So much stupid.
