Plummer is retired, Sims and Rattay will most likely get cut and I have no idea who Bruce Eugene is.

Most of them aren't any good...and didn't Plummer retire or no?

Bruce Eugene is a definate project and they have him playing over in NFL Europe for the Frankfurt Galexy. He played at Grambling State and is 6 foot, 260 plus pounds. Nickname is "Round Mound of Touchdown". Three time finalist for Walter Payton Award which is Division 1-AA version of the Heisman. Also noted for getting a 41 on the wonderlic test which is best by a QB in the past 4 years.

Plummer is for sure retired, Tim Rattay is an unrestricted free agent, Garcia is 37, Gradkowski isn't that good, Simms is still unproven but will be their guy until proven otherwise, and Eugene is a project.........

damn, 6 foot and 260?? either a fat butt or over muscled for a qb? can this guy even run?

I didn't say that any of them were Hall-of-Famer's. And remember that 'not that good' for an NFL QB that has at least taken a few meaningful snaps means he is a sh!tload better than other QB's that have seen their playing days go by and they were probably pretty good when they were drafted. Just because you may not like the guy or the team he played for (Texas, UCLA, etc.) doesn't mean that they didn't win games.

I agree he has a shot to make the roster....but it is a major log jam.

Dang Eric...

Mayun you are good...

Ya know the same thought came across my mind some weeks ago. If Taylor was going to be drafted, that his best chances would be someone like Gruden who had Raider or Callahan ties.

Good for ZT. All you want is a chance to put your foot in the door.

His career stats over 4 years:

13, 530 Passing Yards 140 Passing Touchdowns

1,207 Rushing Yards 19 Rushing Touchdowns

1,657 Passing Attempts 874 Completions

38 Interceptions

38 Games played as a starter 30-8 as a starter

Taylor over 2 years at Nebraska:

Year GP Comp Att Yds Comp % TD INT

2005 12 237 430 2,653 55.1% 19 12

2006 14 233 391 3,197 59.6% 26 8

Totals 29 471 822 5,853 57.3% 45 20

Rattay signed with the Titans today so he is out of the mix at Tampa Bay.
Awesome!

That leaves: Jeff Garcia, Chris Simms, and Bruce Gradkowski...who are basically the only QBs worth a crap. Plummer isn't coming back, I know it. He wouldn't start for the Bucs, so he's going to stick to his guns and retire. The other QB with Zac, I heard was just basically to have another QB for the other squad. He's not much from what I've heard. So...in my opinion it's Zac vs Gradkowski.
