I really hope we can go undefeated with those shcedules, Okalahoma is the only consistently good team we play

like an emailer on unsportsmanlike conduct said, it will be an easy schedule for our new coach

It will be probably be easy to get tickets with those bad of games

Sweet post dudE!!!1

VaTech has more wins over the last 5 years than we do. They just dont get media attention alot. But they are always a very solid team, and going to Blacksburg is a very dangerous game. I just hope they dont talk us into a thurs night game.

I wonder how much it cost to pay those 3 cream puffs in 09?

You guys have a tough one this year with Wake, and Nevada gave Miami a strong go last year. And the Condoms.

We are playing one of your staples in Utah State this year, what a joke.

If this was 1994, the 2008 schedule would be a complete joke, anything less than a 17 pt. win anywhere across the board would be absurd...but since it's now...I'll go 8-4. :hmmph :madash

Are we really predicting records over a year out now? That is crazy, a lot of things can happen between now and then. Hell we don't even know who our QB will be this year let alone next!

Don't forget that game in December against Texas. :clap

For some reason Oklahoma has not posted their 2008 and 2009 schedule on their web site yet other than a 2009 game at Miami. 2007 features home games against North Texas, Miami, Utah State, and an "away" game at Tulsa.

Anyway, for comparison, here are the non-conference games for a few other teams:

Ohio State

2008:

Youngstown State

Ohio

@Southern Cal

Troy Univ.

2009:

Army

Southern Cal

Toledo (in Cleveland)

New Mexico State (end of October)

Georgia

2008:

Georgia Southern

TBA

@Arizona State

Georgia Tech (end of November)

2009:

@Oklahoma State

TBA

Arizona State

Georgia Tech (end of November)

Kansas State

2008:

Louisiana-Lafayette

Fresno State

@Louisville

North Texas

2009:

Massachusetts

TBA

@UCLA

TBA

Texas

2008:

TBA

@UTEP

2009:

Massachusetts? Massachusetts????????

Do they even have a football team????

Actually, I think UMass was in the D-1AA playoff last year. But still. Almost no one plays 4 big names. There was something in the OWH today where Pederson they didnt want any 1-AA teams, and would like a mid level BCS conference team as well as the Big name each year, but cant find any takers.

I can't blame the powerhouses for going easy in their non-conference schedules. You have no pre-season in CFB and a long conference schedule better to get the kinks worked out against Appalachain State then against USC or Florida.
