Dumb-a$$ penalties have been killing us for years.

We had 2 penalties for 10 yards the entire 1st half. Does someone piss in your cornflakes every game day?

That punt return may have saved the game for us.

Inability to run the ball is concerning.

They're putting 7-8 in the box. It's to be expected. We need Langs to keep pounding the rock to a) keep Oregon honest, b) wear their defense down, and c) eat clock to help our defense.

I don't subscribe to the theory that it's impossible to run the ball with 7-8 in the box. Good teams do it on a regular basis. Obviously, we just aren't at the level right now.

We rushed it 18 times the 1st half and only averaged 3.4 ypc. I think that improves a lot in the 2nd half.

We dont have the oline that those teams that do it have though. Hopefully we start getting that oline with wins though.
