*****Official College Football Thread - 2016 Edition*****

Saw a really ugly play from Indiana where it looked like they were going to run the option but the QB just kind of followed his RB (very slowly) to the edge. It was terrible.

Notre Dame game looked like it would be tons of fun to play in if you were the eventual winner.

Charlie probably gone, Kelly probably gone, LSU probably going for Jimbo. So FSU could use a coach.

Off season will be cray

No surprise with Houston, they beat a very average Oklahoma and they are the most over ranked team in the country by a mile. Their only real game will be vs Louisville, hope Navy doesn't blow it.

3rd Qtr Navy 41 Houston 27

wow

Yup... Very realistic that Nebraska could be ranked 9th tomorrow.

I did not see Houston getting beat like that. Great win for Navy and us

In this other one, I cannot find it in me to root for FSU to ever win a game..... Maybe I'll just peak at the score and not watch.

Why do you dislike FSU more than you dislike Miami? Is it because we got revenge on Miami?

I don't think it's a closure thing, but you may be on to something that I wasn't really aware of.

Oregon getting owned by Washington State.

The Ducks are going to have to hurry to make a bowl game.
I thought the way the Huskers beat Oregon in such a tight close game broke them emotionally (Ducks). Had they won (Oregon) they would have rode that momentum into the following weeks. Instead, they fell from being ranked and have struggled to come out of it. That game may have broke them.
Well if you really want to look at it this way. It didn't matter. NU offense isn't as potent as the Pac12's. Oregon was going to have to score 50 pts a game just to get to 6-6 regardless of beating NU.

I know you want to think NU broke them but they were broke before that game. Broke in recruiting. Broke in coaching. Mariota was just such a talent that he masked the problems.
