Looks like we will be going to the Alamo Bowl...

Right now they are picking Mizzou to win the north and lsoe to texas in the champ game.
They are relying on Chase Daniel pretty hard...that's not really surprising, since he probably will control Mizzery's destiny. However, NU doesn't seem to find an answer to the Tiger's backups lately, so that may not hold true for the Big Red. I won't go there this year, so maybe that'll do the trick for the Huskers.

I think a lot of Nebraska's season rests on the results of three games. First USC, early test of how good the Huskers really are. Second Missouri, clash of the number one and two in the North and three Texas, what should be the North power against the South power. Win two of those three and I would be willing to bet Nebraska is in the Big 12 championship game. Just an outsiders guess. I think there are other critical games, A&M, K-State and Kansas among them and Iowa State is a total unknown but should be improved, but I think the USC, Texas and Missouri games are the key.

Since I already have my tickets I am betting on Nebraska being in San Antonio on December 1st.

i really dont take a lot of stock in what CFN has to say. they couldnt predict that a hooker would need anti-biotics following mardi-gras

It isnt as crazy as it sounds. Look at thier schedule.

Nothern Colorado

At La Tech

At UNLV

Charleston Southern

At Idaho

Utah State

At San Jose State

New Mexico State

Fresno State

At Nevada

Boise State

Washington

I wouldnt bet agaisnt them losing anything more than 1 game. Undefeated is a real possibility. Meaning they will in all likelyhood get a BCS bid. CFN does do a reasonable job of predicting the games before the season starts, better than many other 'experts'. AT least the guys there watch the games.

With that schedule though even if they lose one game, I believe they won't be ranked high enough in the BCS standings to get an automatic bid. But you never know, they just might. After seeing this schedule and if they do go undefeated or lose one game and go to a BCS game I will be more sick about them going than I was last year whenever Notre Dame went to a BCS game.

If they lose 1 they will be out of the BCS. But with the total lack of competition on that sched, it wouldnt suprise me at all if they went undefeated
