I have to paraphrase because I can't find the quote from Steve Spurrier.

I prefer to lose the SEC and play in a bowl we can win. The SEC champion has to get the crap beat out of them by Nebraska.

I don't remember the game, but Keith Jackson made the comment....its funny, but not my favorite though. Turner Gill attempted a pass, but it hit one of the offensive linemen's helmet. Keith Jackson said "Turner Gill didn't have the presence of mind to throw the ball over the offensive lineman's headgeah..." (you have to use his voice).

 
Keith Jackson, after the Florida game that lead up to the Fiesta Bowl in 95. Griese had just picked Florida to win because of their offense and speed. Keith said something to the effect of "Florida is a good team, but they haven't seen the likes of the Peters brothers and the Nebraska defense. I'm picking Nebraska!" I loved him for that...and he was absolutely dead on.

Hell, I even thought I was dead 'til I found out it was just that I was in Nebraska.
