didn't Stewart basically get demoted this year from defensive backs coach to just cornerbacks coach? it would seem weird to then give him a promotion.

I think what will happen is Stewart will leave NU after signing day, and I think he will go back to the NFL. I'm sure he has a ton of contacts still in the league and he can go back and be a DB coach there and try to get back to be a DC down the road.

With improvement necessary next year and an absolutely brutal 2018 schedule, this staff needs to be as strong and productive as humanly possible.

I would be thrilled to get a Miles or Strong in some form. We need it to really drive home recruiting.

Pretty sure this just means some duties will shift. Someone will have to coach special teams whether we hire Williams or Thompson. Neither will be ST coach. I'd guess Bray becomes ST Coordinator/LB's and gets a nice pay bump.

I heard that while Ron Kellogg was reading a tip from a big time poster on Huskerboard that Les Miles, wearing a sweater vest was seen in a taxi with Charlie Strong stopping at a husker gear store before being driven to the stadium offices. Stepping out of the cab, Strong threw up the bones and did a chest bump with Miles.
