Both him and Lewis are that way. No attention, just business. Look no further than his decommitment, no fluff straight to the point.

Just can't see other schools "backing off" completely (especially USC) when he isn't deciding until NSD more than 2 months from now. If he was deciding in the next week or so I would for sure believe that.

 
I feel just the opposite

If you fight for a week and lose then you have 7 weeks to come up with a different plan. If you know the fight is going to last 8 weeks and you don't have much of a chance - might want to give up and fight a more winnable battle.

 
I'm not too terribly worried about a younger brother (2018 class) chirping too much about his verbally committed school more than a year in advance of him actually enrolling. LOTS of things change in a year. (and I've never heard of an older brother choosing a school based on where his younger brother may go in a couple years).

Ya, usually the opposite. Younger goes where older leads.

I agree. Though it doesn't hurt USC's case to have a brother in the fold, younger or not.
