Music City Bowl vs Tennessee

If there is some blocking on punt returns, that would be a huge change.

The only thing 'huge' happening for this game is potentially how much Nebraska gets beat by with all the injuries and suspensions they have going on.

So just so I'm clear, the general mood of this bowl game has gone from 'Bring it on! We can notch a win against a SEC team!' to 'Oh FFS, let's just stay within four touchdowns of them...', right?

Because unless I'm missing something, we're missing too many key pieces to realistically think we have a shot at this win.

Then again...Saturnalia is the season of miracles, right?

With all the cards stacked against us, I have a weird feeling that we will win this game. We will have no reason to expect to be in it, but we will win.

I kinda feel that way too. Riley has always done a pretty good job in bowl games, his career record is 7-2. Riley is a better HC than Butch and I think it shows in this game. Plus I think TN is getting a little too much credit. They really aren't very good IMO, but then again we aren't either.

They were very luckily to get the bounces / comebacks they had early in the season, then again we were lucky to have the easy schedule.
