Distance from home but still considering Michigan and Michigan State...

So 17 hour drive is fine.

21 hour drive is just TOOO much.

Anyway, if he doesn't stay close to Florida, it wasn't about distance from home.
Where did you understand that Michigan and Michigan State are still in it?
Because in the same article of him decommitting it said they were. At least Michigan State. And the Orlando Sentinel seems to think Michigan still is.

But hey, I'm just making stuff up right?
I'm certainly not privy to his other family's whereabouts, but considering where his dad played pro ball, it's definitely not that [/] far from Ann Arbor or East Lansing. I would surmise he at least has a bunch of people he knew growing up.

I could definitely be wrong, but if he goes to either Michigan school, I wouldn't take it like he was lying about his decommitment.

I would.

In radio interview, his dad said most of his family has never missed a game. Grandparents, close family live in Florida. This is about distance per everyone involved. Going anywhere near or further than Nebraska, would make this a lie.

Get over it.

The article said he had other offers standing from MSU, MI. Didn't say they were "in it" like you are implying.

Guys. The kid can go wherever he wants. Only people wrong here are grown men freaking out about someone they have no relation to choosing not to go to Nebraska. I would hope you'd have more important things going on in your life than having to throw a temper tantrum about Robert Porcher IV. Wish the kid luck and move on.

I don't see the distance from home as that bad of an excuse. Obviously just changed his mind and didn't want to hurt our apparently fragile feelings
