Bob Diaco - New Defensive Coordinator

DC Bob Diaco had one defense from 2009-13 ranked worse than 44th in scoring D. 4 of Nebraska's last 5 ranked 50th or worse.

Love the credentials. Seems to have gotten results everywhere he's been.

Switch to 3-4 is intriguing.... something we've never had. We better find a good nose tackle!

As for the pants, maybe TO can kit him out in this getup...

I'm pretty intrigued about the hire. I like that he's young, had success at Norte Dame, and the 3-4 interests me. I won't hold his failure at UConn against him, in this role. He's the DC, not the head coach.

 
Hopefully, hes successful, but I wonder how long he'll hang around with instant success. I understand thats the price of quality.
