They shot an abundance of free throws (30) to our (5). We shot and made a few more 3's today but for a team that attacks the rim like Nebraska, only getting 5 trips to the line is telling. To their credit Mich only missed 4 FT's. 87% as a team is outlandish.

A 30 to 5 free throw discrepancy just doesn't 'happen'....

Yeah a 30-5 FT discrepancy is pretty outlandish, even for a team like Michigan who doesn't foul a lot. Also, it wasn't like Nebraska wasn't driving to the rim and settling for jump shots. I'm pretty sure Tai took it to the hoop a majority of times and ran into Michigan's bigs.

But, I didn't think the discrepancy was as much Michigan not being called for fouls as much as it was Nebraska being called for too many.

 
Sorry Jack, but if it's down to Horne vs Jack, give me the opportunity for some offense every day.

Puzzling quote by TM, it's not like Jack was tearing them up on the boards either.

 
It shows that TM values accountability.

The kids have to know that certain things are required for them to see minutes on the court. In the long-term for the growth of the program this is a good move.
