Huskers Add Kurt Warner's Son as Walk-On WR

His Hudl (which has started partnering with Nike on verified testing scores) lists a 4.51.
I'm not buying it. Even playing against lesser skill levels you make an offer to a kid who is 6'2 200 lbs runs a 4.5 and is the son of a hall of famer. Something isn't adding up. You would think even the Purdue's or the IU's of the world would make an offer.....or his hometown school

Here are a few articles I found on him:

Plus an article on his Dad helping coach the team and mentioned the team moved up in class this season:

Maybe this will open the pipeline for his son Elijah to follow some day.

Not worried about him having no offers. Pops was bagging groceries at HyVee before his big break, and we all know how that turned out.

When you figure it out - let us know.... Until then we are going to be excited for the prospect!!! If you look at his resume alot points upward

Not saying I'm not happy to have him, I just think it's weird with those numbers he has no offers

This is why so many fans are always disappointed in our team. The expectations are too high. Look at this situation. Some guys think this kid is going to be big time. He's from Arizona. His own FCS school, Northern Arizona, didn't even want him. He got one FCS offer and that's it. Let's cool our jets here.

Serviceable as a WR, but if he adds size he could be a good HB/TE

Seems Riley likes taller TE more in the 6'5 + range.
