Clear Bag Policy to Go Into Effect This Fall

The terrorists win when we give up our freedoms in the name of safety.

I think they should allow a woman (or dad) to bring in their normal diaper bag.

And I think a smaller backpack should be OK.

Let us be brave and try to live like we want to. That is what our forefathers wanted.
hahaha I highly doubt terrorists are checking the Nebraska game day rule changes and chalking it up as a win.
They are after your freedom. And it is a win for them whether they check or not.
I can understand the precaution.

But, they will have their hands full.

When my wife wears Prada.

She'll throw a fit.

I might too.

Revoke my man card.

Some things just arent right.

My wife won't like this.

She likes her bags.

I assume MOST women enjoy their bags.

What is this war on bags?
Are our Husker women enemies?

Oh c'mon they are not!

What if my wife shows up with a bag?

Will the security staff discard it?

Even if the bag costs hundreds?

What if it costs in the "tens"?

Is there a policy?

Can Husker fans avoid such checkouts with annual donations?

What comes of Husker fans with none?

What if we hide our purses in our pants?

Only thing left is to check our underpants.

I'll hide my Huskers #1 finger in my pants.

Wife has no challenge to the bulge.

Every other stadium in the US has this requirement already. The stores will start selling clear husker purses and everyone will be fine. It will be printed on tickets websites etc. its absolutely not a big deal.

The Vikings did this a few years ago (maybe it was a NFL wide rule)? But as part of the season ticket package that year, they sent a clear "purse" to every pair of season tickets as well.

If your wife shows up with a purse to the stadium after reading the rules & having full knowledge of the rules she deserves to have her purse thrown out (no matter the cost)

What do people need to carry into the stadium in bags/backpacks/purses? Unless medical in nature, if you can't get by with just having money/keys/phone in your pockets for 4 hours then what the hell are you doing there?

Anytime I go to a game with my wife (any sport), she normally just brings some cash and her phone (and driver's license if we are going to somewhere that servers booze).

If you have to bring a diaper bag or a bag full of "stuff" to entertain your kid, then your kid probably isn't at the right age to go to a game (saying this as a dad).

The irony in this thread is amazing with some of the posts. I guess we can say that some posters are very "clear and transparent"

No kidding… I hate bringing anything into the stadium… Except of course for some shooters that I hate throughout my body.

Will they have more than 2 water fountains per 15,000 fans to fill up those water bottles?

Think I'd rather watch on Television.

I think they should adopt a policy that peoples hefty backsides can only take up the space in their allotted seat number. People shouldn't have to sit on the person next to them because some big boned person is spilling into their space.

(Standing up doesn't cure this either)
