Nebraska/Oregon to Be on Fox - Other Kickoff Times Announced

Every game that's not on ESPN/ABC means one less game with either Ed Cunningham or Beth Mowins.

That's a good thing, right?

Went back and looked at openers kick times. I would have guessed we had played more than 2 night openers since joining the B1G.

2016 Fresno St BTN 7:00

2015 BYU ABC 2:30

2014 FAU BTN 2:30

2013 Wyoming BTN 7:00

2012 So Miss ABC 2:30

2011 Chattanooga BTN 2:30

Didn't Beth Mowins move up to do pro football games for ESPN now?
I think just the first Monday Night game because of the double header.
Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification.

Yep, and it's all a publicity stunt by ESPN to try and boost ratings for that game.

I would think adding Beth Mowins to anything would run counter towards an attempt to boost ratings...but hey, this is the network that thought giving Texass their own channel was a good idea.

It's an attempt to boost ratings because some casual observers will think "Hey, I think a woman is doing play-by-play for that game, I may tune into that for a while, just to hear her."

While Mowins has been calling college games for a number of years, there are LOT of NFL fans who don't pay any attention to college football.
