The Tunnel walks!

The thread below mine got me thinking.

What was your favorite tunnel walk that we've done?

(if anyone needs a refresher http://www.huskerbay.com/new/tunnel_walk.htm )

What was your least favorite?

What would you suggest they do for a tunnel walk or what would you like to see happen?

:woo
My favorite was from our first game after 9/11. We played Rice, if I'm correct. Both teams were already on the field and when the doors to the locker room opened and the honor guard came out carrying the flag... Wow!!

I saw it on video a couple months ago and it still gives me chills.

My favorite tunnel walk was 1998

Lease favorite last year, not exciting at all.

Coming off of a National Championship year seems to add a little more excitement to the tunnel walk. Hopefully we can accomplish that again soon! :woo

I liked the ones when we first began using the Husker Vision. I just remember hearing the music and watching the screen flash out to Tommy/Frank walking out and feeling like Memorial Stadium was about to collapse unto itself.

penn state a few years ago. i was listening to the radio and watching on tv at the same time. it was spine chills ten minutes straight!!

that sparks a question for me...do they play the tunnel walk on the radio? I always hate when I see it start to happen on TV and then they'll cut to commercial or the announcers just talk over it and you can barely hear it int he background. I'd like to be able to at least hear what they're doing for a tunnel walk this year on the first game...and maybe the radio will do that for me?

I hope they do something different with the tunnel walk this year because there is way too much talking in it and you can't get loud because you want to hear what they are saying??? :hmmph

yeah, listen to the radio!! the announcers talk about the excitement, the build-up, a short intro of the teams...and then they shut up and just let the crowd do the talking, for like 3 minutes. then you can hear total eruption when the team hits the field!!...man, it's awesome to be able to hear it and not see it when i'm listening on the radio. just gets me twice as pumped.

they HAVE to do away with the talking part on huskervision. just show the players marching through the tunnel with some blasting music and let the crowd provide the noise.

Who wants to hear Keith Jackson talk? :dunno
He means the players saying "I play for Nebraska"
Keith Jackson did it for me. Killed the whole tunnel walk.
I agree... no more Keith Jackson.
