Wish we could have used this kind of defense previously - even vs NIU.  Just win that one and things would look so much better.   Another couple TDs on offense and one less on defense and this season would NOT be good but would still feel a lot different and not look so God awful.  

Still, can't put this team away either.  Second half been ugly to sum it up.  So frustrating we can't find a way to play 4 good quarters against anybody.

Im not sure my local HS defense couldn't stop the Illini.  Our defense has improved, granted against zero competition, but is showing signs of improvement.  Lets see what happens against a true D-1 Big 10 opponent!
