I slightly disagree. I never saw the risk. It was nearly a guarantee that MR would be no better than average.

If he learned from Riley, why doesn't Paul Chryst suck?

Good students take what they learn,  expand upon it,  and grow on their own.  They also surround themselves with good people and let them do their jobs.

I thought I remembered some talk that Langs would take over when Riley retired....after everything was up and running like the new Corvette. We used to talk like that a few years ago.

We used to day 'now we're cooking with gas' back in the day!  I love the Corvette.  My Dad, God rest his soul  (H passed away last Saturday.) always had Corvairs she we were kids. Loved those cars!  Wow! I don't want Langs as our Head Coach!  Fr me that would be a nightmare!
