Why would Mullens leave Oregon? For a 300k dollar pay raise and not having Phil Knight control (sign off) on every move. Mullens didn't hire the basketball coach (boys), but he promoted Helfrich and Phil had to sign off on the promotion. Chip wanted him promoted too so I don't put that on Mullens. Mullens appears to have made a good hire with their new football coach.

I don’t get it , when did we start bidding wars for ADs?
We have ten Assistant ADs, why can’t we promote one of them?
Like Merle used to say, if he can’t shoot, why is he on the team?

He was a Wisconsin plant to make sure we couldn’t compete.
Would’ve been far better off had we promoted from within.
Or hired Karen Jennings who would’ve been kicking a$$ by now.

Wouldn't be surprising if we make a hire for AD next week. Three names in print is pretty specific.

I know that hiring a real estate agent to be the AD would be a bad look for Nebraska. If you want Nebraska to be taken seriously again this needs to be a slam dunk hire.
