He not only got the hire that most everyone wanted, he did it the right way, with class, and with little public drama.  This is especially impressive considering Florida, Florida State, Oregon, A&M, and other schools were interested.  He pulled the base together, and got a great hire.

Yes, he did it so smoothly that Frost was able to mostly just focus on his team.  Superb job on the part of the Billwinkle 

 
We need to get like a moose call going in Memorial Stadium next year. Do they make those? Is that a thing? Can we get it started? GBR!

 
I like Billwinkle so far, he has followed thru w phase 1 of his job:  sending Riley and Fiasco packin`

Just has to complete phase 2-today most likely-hiring Frosty, and he can put himself on cruise control, disappear, whatev, dont even need to hear from him again.

BTW, Mike Leach says Moosy is THE BEST AD in the country and I respect Leach`s opinion.

 
Word is Moos had to convince Frost that THIS regime had their s*** together,  Scott would have told Eichorst to kick-sand. I doubt SE could have landed Moos's two quality back-up options in Fuente and Mullin either. Props to the powers-that-be on bringing Moos in.

Im still at a loss at how anyone would think Fuente would leave VT for NU.  Pie in the sky stuff, IMO.

mullen wouldnt have been a good fit @ NU and his teams are inconsistent anyway.

He handled it all professionally and magnificently. We are in good -- no, GREAT -- hands with Moos in charge.
