Nebraska #20 in AP Pre-Season

It's a good starting point for a program on the rise like Nebraska. The ranking does put a target on their backs as they head into UNRANKED Wake Forest. If they can come out of that game with the undefeated record intact then they can set their sights on knocking USC from their lofty position. No game is a gimme but don't surrender them before you play them either.

i compare Wake Forest to a Kansas State type of game like last year...sure, it's at their place, but I expect a 10-14 point victory from our boys.

Yeah I could see that and I can also see it being closer than that. I will wait and see how they do on opening day and see how the unit clicks.

it will probably be closer at Wake, but given our PP performance on the road a win will be sufficient this early in the season.

The only thing we control is how we play against the next team on our schedule. If we focus on what is in front of us and only the next game we will have a successfull season. Like you said BRI win and the rest will take care of itself
