With how Penn State is trending, this game could be HUGE for both.

I dont really get the "PSU to the tourney" talk yet, but they play OSU, @Pur, Mich and then @Neb

If PSU were to somehow win out they would be 22-9/10-6 and would have wins over OSU(2), PUR, Mich, NEB(2).

That being said they have losses to MN, Indiana, Wisconsin(B1G) Rider.

No nice Non-con wins.

Penn St is favored tonight over Michigan. It would get them to 20 wins + a win over Nebraska and a better resume' at this point. BIG game Sunday.

Mike Watkins hurt his knee against Michigan - status of playing vs Nebraska is unknown at this point. He had 20 points and 15 rebounds when we lost to them in January.

Some bracketologists are saying we need to win the Big Ten to get into the tournament.
If we beat PSU, win two in the tourney and don’t get in, that would be complete bs

Penn State sophomore center Mike Watkins will miss Sunday’s game at Pinnacle Bank Arena with a knee injury suffered during Wednesday’s loss to Michigan.

Coach Patrick Chambers confirmed the absence on his radio show Thursday night.

Despite playing just five minutes with no points and no rebounds against Michigan, Watkins is still second in Big Ten games in rebounding (9.1), first in field-goal shooting (70.0 percent) and 28th in scoring (12.8).

Watkins crumpled to the floor early in the first half after jumping to block a shot. He was helped to the locker room without putting any weight on his right knee. The 6-foot-9, 254-pound Philadelphia product returned to the game for about a minute but did no more after that than ride an exercise bike.

Beat PSU and one in big ten it should be enough. If we want no doubt and no play in game, 2 wins in the big ten tourney.

Not so sure about only needing PSU and 1 more. That will still only give as 2 wins over tournament teams and have the really bad loss to Illinois. I think need at least 2 wins (Michigan and Michigan State) to have a chance

We do not need to win the whole thing to get in. We will need to beat one of MSU, OSU, and Purdue to make it in. Basically, beat PSU, and then make it to the finals and we should get in. Only beat Michigan and they will have us do a play in game to prove if we belong.
