That would suck for NU, because it wouldn't give NU an opportunity for another quality win.

NU wants to play the best teams possible.

Wisconsin is playing better lately, I think Maryland might have trouble getting out of their first game...

You're right, if they can make it to the championship game, I'd give them almost 50/50 odds to win it all.  :corndance

What we should hope for is, Nebraska over Michigan; Wisconsin over Michigan State ; Nebraska over Wisconsin (again). Then on the other side of the bracket, Ohio State over Purdue.

Would either end the tournament with an auto-bid or a "GOOD LOSS" LMAO
