That's a good question. I can't pretend I know enough good, young Scottish actors to make a guess.  Certainly can't be Christopher Lambert again - for an immortal, he'd look awfully old. :D

 
Butler didn't even come to mind but he would be a good one.  He did sucha good job with "THIS IS SPARTA!" just think of what he could do with "There can be only one!"

Perhaps Christopher Lambert could play Ramirez?

 
Ryan Reynolds was attached to play Connor MacLeod for a long time. 

If they want someone Scottish, and want to do a good job, go for James McAvoy

Producers were circling Tom Cruise for Ramirez a few years ago.

Butler would make a good Ramirez. But a fantastic Ramirez would be Ken Watanabe.
