Post-Spring Game Pressers

I really like coach Walters.  I like all of these coaches though but I enjoy listening to him talk football.
He was a great college player, and had a solid career in the NFL for nearly 10 years, despite being undersized.  He will be a head coach in college before too long.  NU didn't lose anything when Keith Williams was retained and Walters brought in.  If anything, he's better for the current team because he has the experience of working with Frost and they have a close relationship.

I completely forgot about his vast NFL experience.  I just like his demeanor.  Very calm, well spoken and obviously intelligent which makes me feel like we're in such better hands than previously.

If things go well - these coaches aren't going anywhere.

One thing I really really liked seeing is our O line.  No, they weren't perfect....and, sometimes it was hard to tell if a breakdown was because they made a mistake or our D line was so good.

However, I really liked seeing that they seemed more mobile.  A number of times I saw tackles getting outside or to the second level to make nice blocks on LBs.  I know the scheme makes it easier for them to do that...but, I also thought they were more mobile making it easier to accomplish.

I'm excited.
