Do CU , KSU and Mizzou fans know anything about football?

Some of them are predicting us to lose to Nevada and WF is a sure loss for us. Didnt Nevada lose their QB and several other players from their team last season? I'm no football guru , but I wouldnt say that Illnois State is going to beat Mizzouri or that Montana State would beat.....OH! Nevermind.

To answer the original question-NO.

Nevada is a no-brainer.

Wake Forest won't be easy, but we'll still win. They're not even predicted to finish that high in the ACC.

This team seems to have more mental focus this year, and that's what will get it done for us.

I agree this team seems to have the mentality of "you don't want to show us any respect that's fine we'll earn it regardless!!!!" That's what we need them to do. :thumbs

more than likely the people saying that are the board idiots. every board has them, even good ones like this. some boards have more than others though......

And some sports stations have more than others, and ESPN holds the monopoly.

It's probably Herbstreit, Holtz, and May logging on to those boards

you know its funny how much I love espn even though parts of it totally suck. I hate the college footbal guys on there. I hate steven a smith. I used to love baseball tonight, but all of those guys are morons. I cant stand john kruk and steve phillips.

Nevada had the 24th ranked rushing offense in the NCAA, but they retain none of their skill position players. Wake Forest returns . . . pretty much everybody. But I'm not sure we really know how good they were, as the ACC definitely was not itself last season.

Nevada has some talent, but lost their QB Rowe, now their top 2 centers and their defensive stud Ezra Butler(who was probably the best player on the team). Wake has their offense back, which should be improved, but their defense won games for them last year and their heart and soul Jon Abbate is gone. They have only 5 starters returning from defense. If this is any gauge for you, Nebraska has more returning starters and lettermen than Wake. I think that if the D can keep them honest, the Huskers should win.

I would not be at all surprised if Missouri was 2-2 entering the Nebraska game. They play Illinois on a neutral site and Illinois has upgraded their talent and is poised to break out(almost knocked off OSU at the end of last year) and they travel to Mississippi which is finally getting their bearings under Coach Orgeron and has some dynamic players that will make an impact. Everyone is swinging on Missouri's nuts, but I am predicting a 7 win season for them, 8 wins at best.

KSU will go into a shell after the beating that Auburn will give them next saturday and may or may not recover, their October 6th game against Kansas should let us know how bad they are.

Colorado's most pivotal game is on the road to Baylor. If they lose that game, look for things to turn ugly there again and end up with a 3-4 win season. If they win, they could end up winning 6. Hawkins is a jacka$$, but a good coach.
