His GPA is probably pretty low just from switching schools all the time. Hope he can do it. I feel like college will be a much better environment for him, especially at a place like Nebraska where he's forced to get tutored for a minimum number of hours.

I meant, he's already taken the SAT.  Sorry if that was a little vague.  Almost a month before his ACT - and the article said he was studying for it daily.   I think he'll make it - he's a bright kid, who just lost his way for awhile.

Don't get why he would wait for the last opportunity to take the ACT before school starts. Would suck if he comes up just a hair short because he didn't give himself the opportunity for a retake.

With a lower GPA, getting a 20 is not easy. Not saying 20 makes you a genius by any means, but it would be a little above the average for a college athlete.

I would guess he's been taking it but hasn't gotten the score he needs.
