Not Husk-R.

That would be confusing. What if all the fans are shouting "Husker!" and then the Husk-R guy gets confused?

I assume this question is for the Duck-back RB position.  I don't know why they just go back to calling it a Wingback.  It's basically the same position and skill-set which Osborne used back in the day.

That would confuse millennials. There would be confusion over which chicken wing joint this idea came from. "Wingback? Didn't I just pick up an order of those with Siracha sauce?"

Can you make it a boneless wing back?
Doesn't sound very effective

I don't hate calling it the "Duck." Calling it the Husker seems too forced.

Personally, I'd like calling it something completely different from either of those. Something like Cowboy, Bandit, Robber, Sheriff, etc. Obviously don't name it something that another conference team uses as a mascot like Badger, Hawkeye or Wolverine.

My vote:  The Magic man.    Now you see me; now you don’t.

(Either that or mike honcho).

If it's Mike Honcho, then it comes with a modeling shoot in a print magazine. It does require nudity though ...

(For anyone confused, see Talladega Nights)
