Should the position be called Duck-R or Husk-R

I don't hate calling it the "Duck." Calling it the Husker seems too forced.

Personally, I'd like calling it something completely different from either of those. Something like Cowboy, Bandit, Robber, Sheriff, etc. Obviously don't name it something that another conference team uses as a mascot like Badger, Hawkeye or Wolverine.

Only defenses get to use such names. Offensive positions are letters.

That would confuse millennials. There would be confusion over which chicken wing joint this idea came from. "Wingback? Didn't I just pick up an order of those with Siracha sauce?"

Millennials were born between 1981 and 1996, or 1982 and 2000, depending on who you ask.

I know what a wingback is tyvm. Hmph!

(maybe they should be split into 2 generations, 'cause I don't feel I have much in common with 90s babies. I had to write my high school papers using an encyclopedia from the 60s as my main source! My first cell phone had a big antennae and I was 20 when I got it).

Duck-R seems too Oregon for my taste

How about something more Nebraskan, like Pheasant-R
State bird is the meadow lark...maybe Lark-R. Of course, that kind of sounds like lurker when you say it out loud.

I understand why it was called the "Duck-R" position back at Oregon, but I do believe the coaching staff should consider changing the name now that Frost is back home.

My vote is to go old-school. If we can't have a fullback anymore, at least bring back: "The Wingback."

It should be the nighthawk, that is the common nomenclature for the "bug eaters" we were originally name after. There's a reason that was the name of our very briefly-lived UFL team.  Plus it just sounds cool.

WELL THE NAME IIIIIIIIS.......I didn't know what it's name is.  So I just called it Fred.

Ohhh oh now, Fred's ridin Fred, Fred's ridin Fred....
