I'm sure it's a lot easier to "feel good" about finishing up a class with passing grades than trying to get a higher test score on the ACT/SAT.  Not a real good way to know one way or the other on the test.

I looked on the national ACT test date site and it said the test date was actually July 14? And that scores could be released as early as July 24?

So I am assuming most of the media was mis-reporting due to confusion on the test date and possible results date.
