Remember USC Last Season?

I was wondering if someone had a video or a pic from last season when USC's running back got tackled by Mckeon (I think) and broke is ankle. I know it should be out there somewhere because the camera zoomed right in on it! Hook me up! Who was the guy anyways????

This video is without closeup. It's around 3:49. Ryan Powdrell was the name, wearing #37.

He is now with Green Bay. They placed him on Injured Reserve....I'm guessing a break/dislocation like that may not be ready to go yet.

Thanks, cmb23. I am going to save that pic for the next time someone complains that Green can't hit.
also use it if anyone accuses green of never being the cause of a near career-ending injury.

sorry, there's just something in bad taste about prizing a photo where someone on the opposite team get messed-up bad. it's on par with how puff fans integrate that picture of that shattered husker boy crying his heart out at the 2001 colorado game into their name sigs with their favorite "62 to 36 -- ANY QUESTIONS, BEOTCH!!!" tag line.

we're better than them and we're better than that. i'm just saying.

I wasn't 'prizing' it in any way. Just found the photo/player he was asking about. Says something about Powdrell's talent to go from a JUCO, to USC (as a linebacker) play fullback for only a handful of games, have an injury like that...and STILL get picked up as a free-agent in the NFL.

Wow, the video is rather enlightening . . . I was at work (at Target) during the game, and we had to marshal the customers around during the tornado warnings and them focus like mad on finishing our closing duties so the overnight guys could come in. Obviously, I didn't get a chance to watch the game and radio was devoted to weather coverage, so all I heard were occasional mutterings of the score. "USC just went up 14-3 . . . 21-3 . . . 21-10 . . . " so on and so forth.

But by the looks of the video, we played them pretty hard! The defense looked completely alive! Now I can't wait for the fifteenth! :bonez :

EDIT: By the way, was anyone here at the Big XII Championship game? Remember that tribute they played before the game showing how both teams had come to be at the CCG? They showed that clip, like, seven or eight times.

agreed. For a HS baseball game once, another town posted a picture of our best player getting spiked on the front page, pissed me off alot.

I guess we were too close to the play, because my girl almost threw up when that happened. Then she said something cpt obvious would say. Something along the lines of "that's not suppose to point that way".

I felt so bad for that kid.

Man I remember that happening!!!! I was half shitfaced and I about threw up!!!! It sent cold shivers down my spine!!!! I liked the fact that one of our guys went up to him as he was being carted out and said something to him. :thumbs
