I will be making my annual 8-hour drive with my son to Lincoln for the opening game, and am really excited about the start of a new era.  With that said, I am curious what your predictions are for the opening game.  I am a picking a Nebraska win 55-21.

I would guess it will take all three non-conference games to surpass 77 points.

Yes. Last year they lost:

Iowa St 41-14

Florida Atlantic 50-3

The way we played last year, we would have lost to Penn State by 40 and probably the cyclones by 21 and FAU would have been a nail biter.  If we can beat Akron by 70,we should be toe to toe with the buckeyes!   LOL   I really don't think even God could pull that off in just 9 months.
