Well, that’s usually how these things work.

You usually get a nickname if you’re really great, really horrible, really short, or have a name that rhymes with a lot of fun words.

But yes I agree - we should have nicknames for all.

I’m just saying players have nicknames all the time. Most of them get them before they even get to college.

I mean most people have a nickname of some sort that sticks with them.

Sidenote: I’m far from a bro; I actually find it offensive. If anything, I’m more of a hipster, so much so even my given name is a bit ironic.

I was calling Moiraine, Bro Pain because she mentioned the rhyming nicknames. And for what it's worth, I don't find "Bro" offensive at all so if/when I use it, it sure isn't meant to be offensive.

 
I havent seen the Burt Reynolds version(Because I aint as old as balls) and I had no idea if he drilled the ref in the balls like Sandler did, hence the reference.


Nope, he hits Ray Nitschke. Twice.

Best bit in the whole movie is when they are in the huddle after it.
