Agree it might be reversed. Who does the tie go to? It looked like a tie as they landed on their backs, then Jackson took it away.

Normally to the offense, but in the case the defender gets his hands on it first, it goes to that player.  So will stand

Now that that's over, a punt return probably would've been better    but it didn't look like batting the ball would have worked on that play.
