I've never liked that one. It looks too happy. Eyeroll emoticons are supposed to look judgemental.

Yeah, it's really goofy since the last board software update. I think having just the +1 without all the other options was fine, and much simpler.

I love the different options.  And while just having a +1 is simpler...it isn't like the options available now are complicated.

Upvote and +1 are the same thing.  I could disable the Upvote if it is causing confusion.  Both of them plus Thanks add one rep point to your total.  So from that perspective they all function the same.  Sad and Confused don't have any affect on your Reputation Points.

Then could you make it so that funny or sad (or any other emoticon) could be used in conjunction with a +1/upvote?

And perhaps this is a "pandora's box" but what about adding an option to give a post a -1?  Not necessarily have affect rep points, but just have it as a way to say I disagree with your post?

I think a good way to tell someone that you disagree with their post is to write a comment in the thread and actually engage in conversation. I dunno.
