That's something I try to point out with older Nebraska fans who complain about younger fans. Pretty easy to be a loyal fan when NU is constantly going to Orange Bowls and winning conference and national titles. It's a little different growing up with Callahan, Bo and Riley. 

 
Yeah I get pretty annoyed with the whole "I was a die hard during the glory days!  I played DII football back in the day!  Listen to me!"  crowd when they refuse to do anything but look down on younger fans.  I didn't become a die hard until like 2005-2006ish, how does that even happen?

You know things have reached an all time low when a bar in Iowa is trolling Nebraska by locking one of their beer fridges until we break our losing streak 

joke is on them because that beer may go stale
