I am watching the World Series and all these players who have really long hair and  long beards drives me nuts! I want to cut their hair and trim those beards.  You tell me is it a guy thing or what?  They make aloy of money so their partners probably don’t mind, but, I don’t see how they put up with it lol.

I am so over facial hair! I have occasionally during vacation or camping trips intentionally not shaved but never more than 2 weeks.  The long shaggy beards similar to ZZ Top just seem silly.

It's a baseball thing...mostly.

There are some players who start the season clean cut and don't shave till their season is over.

Baseball players are well known for being very superstitious.
