Which is why your argument is highly flawed. You aren’t accounting for other important variables, whose importance have been explained to you clearly in this topic.

A lot depends how many plays we are on defense.  Against Illinois we scored 3 TDs in less than 6 minutes.  I expect slower games against Mich. St. & Iowa, which means less plays for the defense per half.  

 
The defense today is playing with a lot more heart considering the offense is giving them awful field position every chance they get.

 
Chinander needs to do what MSU did to contain a mobile quarterback. The secondary needs to stress communication; there were several times we could've got the pick if the defender knew it was coming right to them.
